Walker can acknowledge it all he wants, but City's 114 charges aren't going away because players kept their heads down.  •  Bayern and Arsenal both played like they'd rather be anywhere else, which tracks for a midweek Champions League dead rubber.  •  Kargbo's back from the dead, which is fine, but Blackburn need him to actually change something rather than just exist on the bench.  •  PSG reminded Barcelona that even a good season means nothing when you run into a team that wants it more, especially in Paris.  •  Brighton are heavy favorites and shouldn't need to sweat a Conference League opener against a mid-table Czech side, so expect them to do exactly that.

Roma Beat Genoa 2-0 With Castro And Lulli Scoring First Goals For Club

Roma returned to winning ways by defeating Genoa 2-0 at the Stadio Olimpico, according to Football Italia. The victory came after the Giallorossi had drawn their previous two Serie A matches and suffered a dramatic 4-3 Champions League defeat to Real Madrid midweek, when they surrendered a 3-1 lead in the closing stages.

Santiago Castro and Emanuele Lulli both scored their first goals for Roma in the contest. Castro's opener came in unusual circumstances after the restart, with the corner being worked into a crowd at the near post before the former Bologna striker improvised a looping finish into the far corner from seven yards.

Roma made seven changes from their European fixture due to injuries and suspension, with Paulo Dybala, Manu Koné, Mile Svilar and Bryan Cristante unavailable. Donyell Malen was also absent following a red card against Como.

Genoa, managed by Daniele De Rossi in an emotional return to his former club, had recently secured their first Serie A victory of the season against Fiorentina. De Rossi indicated his side gave Roma a competitive match but were ultimately undone by Castro's decisive contribution, as reported by Football Italia.
