Walker can acknowledge it all he wants, but City's 114 charges aren't going away because players kept their heads down.  •  Bayern and Arsenal both played like they'd rather be anywhere else, which tracks for a midweek Champions League dead rubber.  •  Kargbo's back from the dead, which is fine, but Blackburn need him to actually change something rather than just exist on the bench.  •  PSG reminded Barcelona that even a good season means nothing when you run into a team that wants it more, especially in Paris.  •  Brighton are heavy favorites and shouldn't need to sweat a Conference League opener against a mid-table Czech side, so expect them to do exactly that.

Blackburn players scattered across loans show mixed fortunes in EFL and Europe

Several Blackburn Rovers players are spending the season on loan at clubs across the Football League and beyond, with varying degrees of success as reported by the Lancashire Telegraph. The defender Pratt has made a strong impression at Bradford City in League One, appearing seven times for the Bantams whilst they have conceded only once during that spell. Bradford appointed Michael Duff as manager earlier this month following Graham Alexander's departure to Preston North End, and Pratt has started all three of Duff's opening matches against Leyton Orient, Stevenage and Burton Albion.

Bradford's form under Duff has yielded five points from those three fixtures, positioning the club third in the League One table and just one point behind leaders Stockport County. Pratt's defensive solidity has been part of their improved trajectory since the managerial change.

The Rovers centre-back on loan at Barnsley continues as a regular starter but faces a tougher spell. Daniel Stendel's side have lost five consecutive matches across all competitions, including a 2-1 defeat at Luton Town on Tuesday evening. The Tykes sit in the relegation zone with eight points from nine matches.

Overseas, the midfielder has made further appearances for Danish Superliga side Randers since the international break. He featured for 75 minutes in a defeat against Viborg and completed the full 90 minutes in a goalless draw with AC Horsens. Randers occupy ninth position in the Superliga and host fifth-place Brondby on Friday.

Tavares, positioned at Polish Ekstraklasa club Wisla Plock, has also gained starts recently. The 25-year-old played 75 minutes in a defeat at Wieczysta Krakow and the full match in a victory against Radomiak Radom earlier this week. Wisla Plock sit tenth in the Ekstraklasa and return to action on Sunday.
